Deportivo La Coruna endured a torrid 2010-11 campaign in which the club were relegated to the Segunda Division.

In the early noughties, Depor were one of the most feared outfits in Spain. An imperious home record at the Riazor stadium helped the club win the La Liga title in 2000 and the Cop del Rey in 2002. The club also reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League in 2004.

After serious underachievement, Deportivo la Coruna will be looking to return to former glories in the coming season. Deportivo boss Miguel Angel Lotina will be hoping talented duo Lassad Nouioui and Riki can make a bigger impact next term, whilst star striker Adrian needs another fruitful season if the club are to press on in 2011-12.
